Authority Leaks
Pressure does not remove the capability. It removes the access.
Your judgement, your wisdom, your choice. All of it is still there in the moment that matters. What goes is the route back to it.
You make a clear point. The room does not respond.
A few seconds pass, someone glances down, someone shifts in their chair.
You feel the pressure build, so you start talking. Clarifying, expanding, answering the question nobody asked.
The room did not need more.
It needed you to hold.
This is an authority leak
The moment your attention leaves your spine, and you adjust before anyone asked you to. It happens automatically, before you have a moment to catch it and choose.
Most leaders call it a communication problem, or imposter syndrome, and set about fixing the wrong thing. It is neither. Nothing has gone missing. Something has gone out of reach.
Every leak is also a room that was open to you, and you never walked into it.
What the work does
It adds nothing. It rebuilds the route, so that when the pressure lands your judgement, wisdom and choice stay reachable, and you can see what is available in yourself and in the room and choose from it.
That is self-anchored authority. Rooted in yourself while the room moves around you, holding without over-explaining, collapsing, or managing.
The observations are where this work is set down, one moment at a time.
